Which test evaluates the middle ear function?

Tympanometry is the test that specifically evaluates middle ear function. This test assesses the mobility of the tympanic membrane (eardrum) and the conduction of sound through the middle ear. It measures the pressure in the middle ear and how well the eardrum moves in response to changes in air pressure.
